Climbing at John Bryan State Park

Today we went climbing at John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs, Ohio to get away from our usual Hocking Hills spot.  I would have to say that I was thoroughly impressed, and am going back tomorrow seeing that it will be about 65 degrees again.  There are a lot of routes on the long ridge of the park, that are just waiting to be climbed.  I would say It
was kind of nice having man-made anchors on top to rope into as well.  I thought it would be a more trafficked climbing park but seeing the reactions of the passers-by when we walked by them with our gear showed otherwise.  We got a lot of, "Oh look at them, they're rock climbers."  Now I'm not trying to be vain at all but it was a little shocking.  I mean I was hoping more people saw climbers out there before, but again it was our first time out there.
that a lot of them are at a beginner to intermediate level of climbing.

Anyways...

If you're looking for a new place to climb near Central/Southern Ohio I would definitely check this place out.  It's got some technical climbs and some easy ones to boost the confidence.  Try it out.  Let me know how things went for you.
