Week 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah

I can not believe that I have been here for a little over a week now. I think reality has finally hit that I am not on a vacation and I am actually LIVING here.

In the week coming to Salt Lake City (from Cleveland, Ohio - only 26 hour drive) I traveled with my dad and had many father-son moments. It was a good trip, stayed in Chicago for the day, then traveled to the well-known areas in Colorado. Colorado was great, hiked in the Breckenridge, Vail, and just visited Aspen.


Completed my first 14er climbing to the top of Quandary Peak in Breckenridge. What a grueling hike that was! BUT worth it in the end. Then in Vail hiked the Bighorn Creek trail where there were many many many wildflowers and mushrooms on the trail. Bighorn was significantly easier than Quandary but still very worth it. I highly suggest hiking both trails.
